A Day In the Life of an Atlanta Junk Man....

My son always asks me what junk removal is like when I get home from work. He loves Herculean stories of heavy objects being lifted, socially responsible reports of materials being reused or recycled, or funny anecdotes of strange but true pickups we've made.
Here's a few samples of the types of things that have made great dinner table stories over the past few months:
Herculean Efforts:
- an 8 person hot tub that took a chainsaw and two people to remove from the back deck, and bring around to the truck - without making a mess of the finely manicured yard or the deck itself.
Socially Responsible Stories:
- moving/shredding/recycling the 20+ years of papers for an entire architect firm and then a law office inside a week. That was an AMAZING amount of paper!
Odd Stories/Strange Items:
- From picking up an engine block from an 85 year old grandma to helping find a home for sixteen thousand square feet of carpet tiles, we've seen a lot of things - and had some strange requests.
Check back in a few weeks and we'll have more stories to tell you - maybe you, like my son will enjoy the cool anecdotes...
Cheers!
Andy
